Working collaboratively, private client advisors
and not-for-profit development officers can achieve superior results. But
often, they don’t speak the same language, which ends up being problematic for
the client/donor.
Understanding the financial tools of philanthropic planning
and the motivating desire of donors to move from success to significance will
enable professionals on both sides of the table to be successful and impactful
for their clients and organizations. This Lunch & Learn session
introduces the concept of the Philanthropic Continuum and describes a number of
charitable giving techniques designed to help individuals progress from
casual donor to serious philanthropist.
