About the webinar...

Cross-border philanthropy continues to grow as donors seek to address global challenges, support international partners, and respond to crises worldwide. Yet many advisors, DAF sponsors, and charitable organizations hesitate due to perceived complexity, compliance concerns, and uncertainty about regulatory requirements. This session introduces a clear, actionable framework drawn from Ted Hart’s new book, The DAF Revolution, and his decades of leadership in global philanthropy. Ted will present the 10-Point Worldwide Grantmaking Readiness Assessment, a tool designed to help organizations assess their preparedness, strengthen due diligence practices, and engage donors ready to make an international impact. Attendees will gain a practical blueprint for approaching worldwide grantmaking, assessing and improving internal capabilities, and confidently guiding donors toward safe and effective cross-border giving.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Wealth advisors and philanthropic consultants
  2. DAF sponsors and community foundation staff
  3. Family office professionals
  4. Attorneys and CPAs advising charitable clients
  5. Nonprofit executives exploring international partnerships
