About the event...

It’s with great excitement that we officially launch the Midwest Chapter of Advisors in Philanthropy!

This chapter has been created to bring together a dynamic community of advisors - financial planners, attorneys, philanthropic advisors, wealth managers, and more - who are committed to helping individuals and families give with greater purpose, strategy, and impact. The Midwest has always been home to generous, values-driven individuals, and now, we have a regional hub dedicated to supporting and expanding that legacy.

During this kick-off virtual lunch and learn, you'll learn about "Your Charitable Toolbox" from Jordan Richardson.

You have a plethora of charitable tools in your toolbox. You just need to know how to use them. In this session, Jordan will compare and contrast Donor Advised Funds (DAFs), Charitable Trusts (CRTs and CLTs), and Charitable Gift Annuities (CGAs), and he will provide practical conversation starters and usages for each charitable tool. Knowing how to use your charitable toolbox can bring immediate value to your next philanthropic conversation.

As a Charitable Strategist at Ren, Jordan Richardson is dedicated to fostering the growth and success of donor-advised fund programs. He has a decade of experience in financial services and philanthropic planning. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Business Management from Hope College and is recognized as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®).
