Join Advisors in Philanthropy for a panel conversation designed for financial advisors, estate planners, CPAs, philanthropic advisors, nonprofit leaders, and more to learn about the latest federal policies that are affecting the nonprofit sector. Speakers will discuss the implications of these policies on individual donors, foundations, nonprofits, and community members--how they are seeing these segments respond to the changes and offer suggestions for what these different segments can do to take action. Panelists will include... Jill Habig, President of Public Rights Project (PRP). PRP is a national nonprofit organization that helps local government officials fight for civil rights. PRP builds local government officials' capacity to protect and advance civil rights, convenes and connects them on key issues, and provides legal representation to help them win in court for residents. Marcela Muniz, Senior Vice President of Philanthropy at the Latino Community Foundation (LCF). LCF is building a movement of civically engaged philanthropic leaders, investing in Latino-led organizations, and increasing political participation of Latinos in California. Jason Nossiter, Principal and Wealth Advisor with Bernstein Private Wealth Management in San Francisco.
