THANK YOU to all of our attendees, speakers, partners, and exhibitors for making the 2024 Conference a great success! We look forward to reconvening in May 2026!
About the Conference Theme The Great Wealth Transfer is happening right now, and it's a monumental change that's affecting wealth managers, estate planning attorneys, and nonprofits. Baby boomers hold an overwhelming majority of the wealth in the US, and the intergenerational transfer of assets is set to be impacted by market volatility, potential legislation, and technology. - Data suggests up to 90% of heirs and beneficiaries won't stay with their parents' financial advisors after estate transfers, and technological advancements have made it easier than ever to move assets. With $27 trillion of assets on the line, all bets are off!
- The future of giving will also be radically transformed over the next 30-40 years with Millennials and Gen-Z reshaping philanthropy and ushering in a new era of giving.
- Nonprofits must welcome a new generation of highly engaged, impact-driven supporters, and those who crack the code can gain not just donors but co-creators and vested partners for good.
The transfer comes with significant consequences for personal finances, the nonprofit sector, wealth management industry, and the ensuing generations. Whether you are a financial advisor, philanthropy advisor, or gift planner, you have a role to play in this future. Are you prepared to address inevitable change and navigate the challenges and opportunities that come with this shift?
