About the program...

Storytelling in philanthropy: A workshop to help you craft your personal giving story

If a well told personal story is as good as a financial ask, how do we craft our story to be effective?  In this workshop, learn how to confidently and effectively share your personal story about why you support your nonprofit so that your listeners are asking how they can help.  We will cover why storytelling is so important in communicating ideas, discover what the societal benefits of your nonprofit offers, what your community might look like without your nonprofit, what your core values are and how to choose the best story to share with different individuals based on their values.  The workshop is interactive and effective in creating your personal story that will intrigue and engage your listener and inspire them to take action.
