About the program...

Please join our very special guest, Jennifer Alcorn, for a conversation about the variety of things the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has incubated to help everyone in their giving journey (not just the ultra high net donors who you may associate with the Giving Pledge or contributions to the Gates Foundation), particularly Gates Philanthropy Partners.

Jennifer is Deputy Director of Philanthropic Partnerships at Gates Philanthropy Partners. Gates Philanthropy Partners is a separate 501(c)(3) organization launched by the Gates Foundation in 2016 that functions much like a community foundation by accepting private donations in any amount to help fund grants to existing Gates Foundation grantees. Donors to Gates Philanthropy Partners thereby have the opportunity to both align their giving with Bill and Melinda Gates’ philanthropic vision and to tap into the same rigor in due diligence, oversight and monitoring that the Gates Foundation applies to its own grantmaking.

Includes time for wine and cheese and mingling!
