Director, Complex Assets Group, Fidelity Charitable
Arthur Maginas is a director in the Complex Assets Group at Fidelity Charitable®, an independent public charity that has helped donors support nearly 255,000 nonprofit organizations with nearly $30 billion in grants since its inception in 1991. The mission of Fidelity Charitable® is to further the American tradition of philanthropy by providing programs that make charitable giving accessible, simple and effective. Mr. Maginas assumed his current role in 2018. In this role, Mr. Maginas works with donors to contribute non-publicly traded assets, such as limited partnership and limited liability corporation interests, private business interests, real estate and restricted stock. Mr. Maginas works closely with donors and their advisors to provide technical expertise and advisory resources before, during and after the gifting process to ensure that donors achieve the most favorable tax treatment with the greatest charitable impact.
Prior to his current role at Fidelity Charitable, Mr. Maginas worked as a senior complex asset advisor, supporting the Complex Assets Group in 2014. He also worked in numerous roles supporting multiple Fidelity Charitable service delivery teams. Most recently, Mr. Maginas worked in Fidelity Institutional Risk and Compliance as a compliance advisor in the Regulatory Management group.

Steven R. Mark, CFA, is Vice President of Strategic Account Relationship Management and Business Development at Fidelity Charitable®, an independent public charity that has helped donors support more than 250,000 nonprofit organizations with over $30 billion in grants since its inception in 1991. The mission of Fidelity Charitable® is to further the American tradition of philanthropy by providing programs that make charitable giving accessible, simple and effective. Steve assumed his current role in 2014 and works closely with wealth management firms, RIAs, banks, and insurance companies, as well as national accounting, venture capital, and private equity firms to educate professionals on charitable giving and help them more deeply engage with their clients.
Steve has worked with Fidelity Investments for more than fourteen years. Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, he held various senior roles in Fidelity Investments’ intermediary distribution business unit, focused on the distribution of Fidelity products and services through banks, broker dealers, insurance companies and RIAs, and also served as vice president of product development for Fidelity Investments’ Private Wealth Management group.
Prior to joining Fidelity Investments, Steve held various positions with TIAA-CREF Wealth Management, where he was head of strategy and business execution, and was a senior manager with Coopers & Lybrand Consulting (now PwC).
