Diane Lai brings over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit and philanthropy sector.
Her expertise includes a deep understanding of philanthropic solutions and working with
a diverse portfolio of partners including individuals and families, corporations,
foundations, and nonprofit leaders. She is a seasoned philanthropic advisor specializing
in partnership development to drive social impact.
Prior to working at Tides, Diane was a Philanthropic Advisor at Oregon Community
Foundation, where she managed a diverse portfolio of relationships with current and
prospective donors throughout Oregon, helping individuals and businesses achieve
their philanthropic goals by crafting charitable plans and grantmaking programs. She
was also responsible for the planning and execution of educational programs and
events for professional advisors, with a focus on managing a network of young
professional advisors across the state. She has also worked at Silicon Valley
Community Foundation,
and fueled her love for music while at Stern Grove Festival Association. She has a
Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy certificate from The American College.
Diane is a proud member of the API Giving Project, and loves traveling and spending
time with her friends, family, and dog.
