Keynote: Randi Belisimo
Belisomo was only 27 when her husband lost his yearlong fight with colon cancer. Carlos Hernandez Gomez, a celebrated political reporter, died at age 36. In the wake of his death in 2010, Belisomo and Dr. Mary Mulcahy founded Life Matters Media, a resource to help in end-of-life planning. Its stated aim is to provide "information, resources and support for all involved in end of life decision-making. Belisomo will discuss her motivation behind founding Life Matters, and why it’s so important for every family to have an end-of life financial plan. |
