How AiP Foundation is Funded / Funding News
Since its inception, AiP Foundation has received donations from our Board members, AiP members, current Chartered Advisors in Philanthropy, as well as gifts from donors whose lives have been transformed by CAP trained professionals.
May 2015 - Great News! The 2015 Conference on Philanthropy in Chicago was a resounding success for the AiP Foundation! Many thanks and congratulations to the AiP Conference Committee for putting on a great conference.
Thanks also to all who participated in the Foundation Talent Show. The audience certainly appreciated the entertainment through their votes/donations -- one person commenting that the show adds sparkle to the conference. The winner was Drake Zimmerman who did his magic fundraising tricks and literally stole the show. Drake was challenged (heckled) during the show to shave his mustache and raised $4,575 doing so. Not to be outdone the next day, hosting a 42 year old mustache, was John Warnick who was challenged and shaved his stache' raising $6,000 for the Foundation! The fun and comradarie were palpable in the air.
Many thanks to The American College for once again contributing a full CAP scholarship for a CAP tuition raffle. The conference kicked off the sale of tickets. There are a total of 300 tickets for a chance to win a full CAP tuition and we've sold 181 so far.
Here's your chance to win a full CAP scholarship! If you're interested in buying tickets go to the donation now link. When we've sold 300, we'll post a short video drawing and announce the winner. If you don't have your CAP, or you know someone you think would be a good CAP candidate, buy a ticket for $25 or get 5 tickets for $100, 12 for $250, 25 for $500 or 50 tickets $1,000.
We hope that you'll read our 2014 Annual Report now available online, and share our mission with others.
