This presentation will discuss various alternatives for eliminating or reducing capital gains taxes. Strategies are both charitable and non-charitable but advisors will be fully equipped to "meet their clients where they're at" in the planning process.

A third-generation entrepreneur, Randy is a founder of Two Hawks consulting, LLC and EzCharitable, LLC, an online training resource for professional advisors who wish to expand their capabilities in philanthropic giving. EzCharitable has created original content that is useful for attorneys, financial advisors, CPAs all of which will facilitate better philanthropic advice for families of wealth. He is also currently the Editor in Chief of Planned Giving Design Center, a national newsletter for philanthropic advisors. Randy has recently been named the Distinguished Co-Honorary Chair 2017 Improving Financial Awareness & Financial Awareness Movement by the Financial Awareness Foundation. In 2015 Randy was awarded the Fithian Leadership Award by the International Association of Advisors in Philanthropy

R. J. Kelly, ChFC®, CLU®, IAR, RICP®, CAP®, MSFS, is the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of Wealth Legacy Group®, Inc., a company specializing in the diverse needs of closely-held business and professional families. R. J. has been in the financial services industry since 1977. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy, Retirement Income Certified Professional, has a Masters in Financial Services with an emphasis in taxation, and is an Investment Advisor Representative of Wealth Legacy Group®, Inc., a Registered Investment Advisor.

He is nationally recognized for his technical skills in estate planning, business succession, national and international risk management, wealth appreciation, executive benefits and charitable tools. As well, R. J. is frequently relied upon as an expert witness in litigation matters. Additionally, as a Life Coach™ and accredited Interplay™ facilitator, he is skilled in handling delicate interpersonal matters and facilitating family communication.

Major publications include the San Diego Union Tribune, LA Times, Denver Post and Yahoo Finance. Speaking audiences include the Vistage International Conference, Young Presidents Organization, Sharp Hospital Foundation, the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting in Australia, Hewlett Packard, the San Diego County Bar – Business Law Section, and more. He has been featured on the PBS series “The Financial Advisors”, the radio program “Inside Business”, the Wealth Channel, and for the last three years as co-host of the Internet radio program “The Wealth Building Hour” on www.wsradio.com.

R. J.’s interests include a commitment to being a wise and fun husband and being active in community, church and international volunteer work. He has worked in Guatemala, Mexico, Myanmar, Cambodia and Russia on service and humanitarian projects. In 2005 he raised over $30k to help Cambodian landmine victims and a school in Phnom Penh. An eight time marathoner, he has raised $35k for Leukemia-Lymphoma research through his running. His life goals include facilitating directly or indirectly $1 billion to charity (having crossed the $100M mark in August 2012), serving overseas in 2020 (his “2020 Vision”) and travels to Bhutan, Iguaçu Falls, Machu Picchu, Tibet, India and the Amazon. He recently accomplished a long time dream of doing a tail hook landing and catapult take off from the aircraft carrier, USS Abraham Lincoln.

R. J. is blessed to be married to his beautiful wife, Vymean, a survivor of the killing fields of Cambodia, and one equally committed to making the world a better place.
