Chris Jacob is a nationally known financial educator and speaker. He has been referred to as The Estate Protector in the trade press, and was featured in the Senior Market Advisor. He has conducted over 200 presentations across the country on topics including Zero Estate Tax Planning, Family Wealth Preservation, and Tax Smart Retirement Planning. Chris works closely with a large number of CPAs, attorneys, financial professionals, and charitable advisors.
Chris has counseled over 1,000 families regarding the accumulation, protection and preservation of their intellectual and financial capital. He has been a leader in charitable planning for high wealth individuals and families for over two decades. His counsel and assistance has saved them millions in estate and income taxes. His firm employs proprietary methodology, including The Legacy Wealth Optimization SystemTM, to help families discern, document and communicate what they intend their wealth to accomplish.
Chris attended the Renaissance Practice Development Forum, which serves as a technical training ground and idea sharing platform for advisors who believe that control over a client’s social capital should remain firmly in the client’s hands. He also is a board member of the non-profit group, The International Association of Advisors in Philanthropy, which helps families explore the protection of their financial independence and the fulfillment inherent to engaging in strategic philanthropy – not simply charitable giving.
Chris maintains the professional designation, Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP). He graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. Chris and his wife, Geralyn, live in St. Louis with their three children.
